It feels like we waited forever for Raven’s story, but it was so worth it. This is one of my favorite series ever and I never get enough of this world. Poor Raven was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and it cost her dearly. She’s only a teenager when she’s forced to marry Aiden Callahan, the older, powerful stranger from a mafia family. But it turns out Aiden isn’t so bad, and she actually likes her husband quite a lot. Her world gets turned inside-out when the father she’s never known tracks down Raven and her mother, thanks to Aiden’s sleazy uncle.
Raven’s mother led her astray and forced her to run. They both believed they were doing the best thing to keep Raven safe, but if only she’d gone to Aiden instead of listening to her mother. Raven’s spent the last five years living her best life as a student and artist in Paris with her besties but her world goes upside-down yet again when her eyes meet Aiden’s across a crowded club.
Can Aiden forgive her? Can Raven trust him again? Well, you’ll have to read it for yourself because I’m not telling but trust me when I say you won’t regret it.
