I found this challenge on Hannah’s Bookshelf and it’s not new but looks like fun so I had to do it.
Rules: Pick 5 memorable reads starting with the selected letter and another 5 that are currently on my TBR.
5 Memorable ‘C’ Books
Canary by Tijan
I love mafia stories, and this is one of the best I’ve ever read. Tijan does mafia better than most and was unputdownable from the first page. I loved the characters and story and have read it more than once.
Carnage by Shantel Tessier
This is a book you won’t forget so it demands a spot on this list. Everything about it is over the top and I loved it, but it’s not even close to the best of the Lords & Ladies world. I’ll never get enough of this series.
Condemned to Love by Siobhan Davis
Sierra and Ben aren’t just a good girl and a bad boy falling in love, or even your average age gap beautiful young thing falling for the mafia boss; No, these two are way more intense since he was her older sister’s long-term boyfriend when Sierra was a kid. That probably makes it sound icky but I swear it’s not, this book is amazing.
The Consigliere by Serena Akeroyd
This whole series (the Valentini Family) is amazing, and I absolutely loved the characters, but Aurora is a favorite and this is her story. Well, this is half of it and the other half is told in The Oracle. A female consigliere is unheard of in their world, but her brother is smart enough to know she’s the best choice, so he ignores the sneers and criticism.
The Crush Next Door by Jenna Fiore
One of my favorite books, this is one of the best friends to lover stories I’ve ever read. The evolution from just friends to everything is so natural and sweet. It’s a fun story with characters I loved.

5 ‘C’ Books on my TBR
Cake by J Bengtsson
This is a story about a rock star with a seriously tragic past and I can’t wait to read it. I’ve only read a few from this author, but they’ve all been amazing, and this looks so good.
Call Me Crazy by Melanie Harlow
What is there to not love about lifelong enemies entering into a marriage of convenience?
Catching Cassidy by Melissa Foster
This is a NA best friends to lovers coming-of-age story that caught my eye.
Charming As Puck by Pippa Grant
A brother’s best friend but he’s her friend with benefits, until he’s not. NBD for most people except he’s an NHL star and his game is in the weeds since she walked away.
Crossroads of Innocence by Danielle M Haas
A heroine in danger, second chance small-town romance? Umm, that’s my middle name.
If anyone decides to play, please tag me, I love this challenge and as a hoarder of books, I’m always interested in hearing about new books I can add to my collection of things that won’t get read until I retire. See links to other entries in the challenge below.
