I found this challenge on Hannah’s Bookshelf and it’s not new but looks like fun so I had to do it.
Rules: Pick 5 memorable reads starting with the selected letter and another 5 that are currently on my TBR.
5 Memorable ‘E’ Books
Echoes of You by Catherine Cowles
Friends to lovers doesn’t always work for me but this is the way to do it right. Nash and Maddie’s story is the perfect balance of heart, steam and suspense.
Enemies by Tijan
This is one of my absolute favorite books of all time and it will rip out your heart as only Tijan can, but it’s worth every tear. Dusty and Stone will always be one of my favorite couples.
Engagement & Espionage by Penny Reid
This story is laugh out loud funny and so much fun. Jenn and Cletus are characters unlike any you’ve met before and their story is goofy in the most delightful way. It continues in Marriage and Murder, which is also a fantastic read.
Envy by Eva Charles
The third and final installment of A Sinful Empire trilogy is soooo good. The first two books were rollercoasters and the second ended on a cruel cliffhanger but the author made up for it by giving us the best one yet.
The Extra Myles by Melanie Munson
Short, sweet and steamy, this is a quick read but one you don’t want to miss. Blair needs a fake boyfriend and Myles has the hots for her so he’s game.

5 ‘E’ Books on my TBR:
Eleven by Carolyn Arnold
Blurb: When Brandon Fisher joined the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit, he knew he’d come up against psychopaths, sociopaths, pathological liars, and more. But when his first case takes him and the team to Salt Lick, Kentucky, to hunt down a ritualistic serial killer, he learns what nightmares are truly made of.
End Game by Allie Lasky
Blurb: Barrett knows Diana has her own reasons for transferring to his school, but he’s torn between elation at finally getting to spend time with his best friend again, and dread at the idea of so much time with the woman he’s in love with and doesn’t reciprocate his feelings.
Diana’s got a lot going on; between her dad’s terminal cancer, the mean girls on her new soccer team, and the looming deadlines of graduate school applications… She’s done. She doesn’t have anything more to give.
She thought it would be good to be around her best friend again, but after spending the bulk of their college years on separate sides of the country, she’s unprepared for the day-to-day reality of the man her childhood friend has grown into.
The End of Us by Kennedy Fox
What happens when a stalker threatens your life and you’re flown to a private beach house with your sexy new bodyguard? You break the rules and hope he falls madly in love with you.
My Escort by Kelly Gendron
Blurb: The Daxon Brothers all have day jobs. At night, they’re escorts. But a different kind of escort. They work with a local domestic abuse center. Like a thief in the night. They steal battered women from their abusers. It’s not an easy job. And sometimes not legal. Still, they made an oath. Never leave a woman behind.
This is MY Story. A year ago, he saved me. Now, can I save him?
The Boyfriend Effect by Kendall Ryan
Blurb: I’m not boyfriend material. If a trail of broken hearts, and a piss-poor record of failed relationships have taught me anything, it’s this. My buddies are happy to give me shit about my latest breakup from here to next Sunday. Thanks, but I’d rather have a root canal. And a vasectomy. At the same time.
But my relief comes in an unlikely package-the gorgeous and feisty Maren. She just so happens to be my friend’s sister, so that’s not awkward at all.
But I’m a man on a mission, and Maren is down to teach me all the ways I’ve been failing as a boyfriend.
If anyone decides to play, please tag me, I love this challenge and as a hoarder of books, I’m always interested in hearing about new books I can add to my collection of things that won’t get read until I retire. See links to other entries in the challenge below.
