You’d think she might feel some safety in the fact that her brother is the DA, but he’s tougher on Jillian than anyone so there’s no special treatment. Eoghan is the consigliere and fixer with a Harvard Law degree who can’t resist a night with the curvy Vegas prosecutor. But one night isn’t enough, one taste isn’t enough. He never imagined wanting more, especially when his life is in Astoria and hers is in Vegas, but he’s captivated by Jillian in every way. He has always been a man who knows what he wants, one who is always in control, until he meets Jillian. Then everything changes because once he gets his hands on her, he’s a man obsessed, one who will go to any lengths to have her.
Their story is dark and dirty with plenty of spice and just when I thought things were close to wrapping up, a twist threw suspense into the mix and made a very good thing even better. I adored Jillian from the fist pages and Eoghan was the bossy, possessive stalker who was just perfect for her in every way. I couldn’t get enough of their story and though the book was great, the audio was next level. The narrators did an amazing job and really brought the characters to life. If you like bossy mafia men and the women who bring strong men to their knees, you need this audiobook yesterday.
