The rules were simple. Keep my hands off his daughter and stay out of trouble.
But now I’m stuck with her. There’s only one bed. And well, rules are made to be broken.
I’m the face of professional bull riding—the golden boy. Or at least I was, until it all blew up in my face. Now my agent says I have to clean up my image, so I’m stuck with his ball-busting daughter for the rest of the season as my “full-time supervision.”
But I don’t need a goddamn babysitter, especially one with skin-tight jeans, a sexy smirk, and a mouth she can’t stop running.
A mouth I can’t stop thinking about.
Because Summer isn’t just another conquest. She sees the man behind the mask, and she doesn’t run—she pulls me closer, even when she shouldn’t.
She says this means nothing.
I say this means everything.
She says there are boundaries we shouldn’t cross. That my reputation can’t take any more hits—and neither can her damaged heart.
I say I’m going to steal it anyway.
A hot cowboy with a smart mouth and a chip on his shoulder was exactly what I needed and Rhett Eaton delivered in spades. Summer is newly graduated from law school and working for her father’s firm as a sports agent when she’s given a special assignment: Babysit this troubled man-child and suppress his PR-nightmare behavior through the rest of the season. Did I mention the hot young rodeo star was her teen crush when he first hit the circuit? She had his posters in her room and that may eventually be revealed to him despite her best efforts to suppress this information.
Although she wasn’t thrilled with the new position, Summer was happy to get out of the office and into the mountains. She likes Rhett’s family and enjoys pretty much everything else about the job, other than Rhett himself. It doesn’t take long before she realizes his public persona is just that and she becomes increasingly enamored with the real Rhett.
He falls for her hard and fast but she’s too worried about being professional to give in, until she can’t fight the attraction anymore. But the more she falls for him, the harder it is for her to support his dangerous career. Rhett’s used to not having support but that doesn’t mean it hurts any less to know she’s not out there in the crowd. I really loved these characters. Summer is smart, funny and knows how to handle a surly cowboy who resents his babysitter. Rhett seems gruff at first but it’s all a show. His filthy smart mouth and need to take care of her will melt your panties and your heart. This is a sweet steamy story full of heated banter and loveable characters. I received an ARC from Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review.
