Review: Washed Away by RC Boldt

All that’s forgotten isn’t always gone…

I’m at death’s doorstep when my body washes up on shore in Panama.

My memory is a blank slate. I can’t even remember my name. I don’t know who shot me and left me for dead—or why.

Patient and kind, the lone doctor there mends my body while offering me refuge.

But as tiny flashbacks of my past occur, I wonder if there’s anyone I can trust.

It’s up to me to discover whether I’m in danger or a danger to others. Whether I’ve actually found love or if it’s all been a lie.

I need answers to find out who I really am.

If only I could remember…

This is what I want in romantic suspense. I loved everything about this story and I was drawn in from the very first page. I couldn’t put this book down. Alex is a complete mystery when Liam first discovers her, near death and with no idea who she is or how she arrived in Panama. Her memories slowly return, but there are blank spaces and nightmares too, so nothing is clear.

They both have secrets, although Alex can’t remember all of hers. They’re both in danger but think they’ve put the other at risk. Liam and Alex are both awesome characters but Alex is seriously badass. It’s an emotional rollercoaster for sure because there’s love and loss but it’s so worth it. This was also my first book by the author but definitely won’t be the last.

I received an ARC from Valentine PR in exchange for an honest review.
