I was hooked from the first page. Astrid and Gray had a meet-hate and are peeved to work together when they meet again so the banter here is top notch. These two clashed hard and didn’t let up, making their mutual dislike of one another the focus of every interaction. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorites and these two did not disappoint.
The sharp wit, snark and sniping at each other were perfect and they also had great chemistry, which made this slow burn even sweeter. This is an amazing start to a new series, and I can’t wait for more! I’d like to thank the author for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
