The Kings of Cypress Pointe book 2
West Golden—Football star. Playboy. Dead to me.
Nothing puts the final bullet in a girl’s rep like a leaked sex tape. Especially one starring her and the cocky quarterback who’s had it out for her since day one. Yep, you guessed it. That girl is me.
At Cypress Prep, West is king, but all I see when I look at him is the wicked prick who gets off on trying to break me.
His plaything.
Go ahead. Give him a round of applause for winning that last round, but know this—hell hath no fury like a girl from the south side with a baseball bat.
Hurt me once, shame on you. Hurt me twice… over my dead body.
I couldn’t wait to get into this book after finishing The Golden Boys because that story had me from page one. So many good things happen here for Blue and West, but the forces of evil haven’t been banished so they have an uphill battle in front of them. She’s determined to stand up for herself, consequences be damned and he’s going to let himself have feelings. They’ve both changed in this short span because of everything that’s happened, but it’s all for the best.
He’s come clean to her about everything: his father’s role and why he hated her before they ever met, the secret that Parker holds over him and her meddling, including the sex tape recording and release as well as the “prank” which nearly killed Blue. They’ve laid it all out now because complete honesty is the only way to prevent the manipulators from coming between them. Or so they think.
Some people are so desperate to get their way, they’ll resort to anything, including brute force and nobody is safe. This book ends on a cliffhanger like the first and I can’t wait to read the conclusion to West and Blue’s story.
