Review: Walk on the Wilder Side by Serena Bell

Rachel’s life is spiraling fast. She loses her job without warning then gets home early to find her long term boyfriend banging his sidepiece in their bed and he’s not even sorry. She thought he was going to pop the question but the only question he has for her is why can’t she forget about his little mistake and move on? Rachel heads to her hometown for a pick-me-up visit and sticks around to help for a while after her mom breaks a bone.

Brody’s struggling for more business for his charter boat so Rachel suggests a mutually beneficial partnership where she uses his boat to host her mom’s beauty product parties. They’re fighting their attraction to one another already, only to discover it’s a sex toy business, not make up and lotions as they thought. Brody knows his best friend’s little sister should be off limits and  the notorious bad boy has baby mama complications, among other issues, but his baggage isn’t a dealbreaker. Their story is a sweet and funny HEA.

Review: Walk On The Wilder Side by Serena Bell Wilder Adventures book 2

His best friend’s sister is rocking his boat. In the best way possible.

Brody: What’s a bad boy doing hosting a book club on his boat? Excellent question. All I can tell you is, it’s not going well. I forgot the bug wipes, the extra TP, and the hand sanitizer, we’re out of wine, and… well, I may have made some people angry, if the reviews are any indication. The only way to dig myself out of this hole is to redeem myself by offering the best girls’ nights out in town.

Enter my best friend’s sister. I’ve gone out of my way to avoid Rachel, since despite her good-girl rep, I can’t seem to get her out of my head. Now she’s in my boat… and if I don’t watch myself, soon she’ll be in my bed. Things are going surprisingly well between us… but I know myself, and I’m not this guy. I’m the guy you want for fantasy fulfillment, not the guy you want for forever.

But what if I need this time to be different?
