It’s forbidden love but so much more since things aren’t always what they seem. Their story had so many twists and turns, it was full of action and surprises. It’s also very dark and the cliffhanger was so painful, I was grateful to already have the second half of the story.
The novella in between the parts is a lovely surprise that made this even better. I enjoyed the first half so much but the second was better because Donata is older and more mature, so I liked her even more. She’s totally badass now and not just some young brat, but Luca has changed a lot too. Their story is dark and dirty and completely wild, and I loved everything about it.
