Review: The Bride’s Runaway Billionaire by Pippa Grant

A runaway bride on a solo honeymoon…
A not-so-strange stranger at her doorstep…
And one unplanned pregnancy…

I’ve been waiting for Emma’s story since Sabrina and Grey’s story ended with quite the teaser about Emma and I’m happy to say it was so worth it. After leaving her toad of an ex at the altar, Emma took her honeymoon solo. Theo made sure she had the best of everything and total privacy since the viral video turned her life upside-down even more than the break-up did. She felt like such a failure to realize her brother was innocent and her friends were afraid to tell her the truth, so she wasn’t sure if anyone would forgive her. Things were dark for Emma and the notoriety of a viral video made things exponentially worse.

Once she was safely hidden on a semi-private island, she happened upon a handsome stranger who was in just as much need for a friend as she, and the two hit it off. They became fast friends and enjoyed the island together before succumbing to the mutual attraction. But when Emma woke up the next morning, her new friend had bailed without so much as a note and she was crushed all over again.

Soon after, when she realized she was pregnant, she tried everything to reach him and let him know, to no avail. Now, two years later, her baby daddy has finally gotten her messages and shows up to turn her world upside down yet again. But it’s even worse this time because she has a son to protect and he’s not going to be shoved into the spotlight like she was, no way.

I can’t say much about their relationship without being a spoiler, so I’ll just say that I loved everything about these two and their story. It was sweet and steamy with a bit of angst and a little suspense, and I loved everything about it. This was a grand end to a fun series, and I highly recommend it. I’d like to thank the author and Give Me Books for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
