I read a lot of books, too many to review them all, but I always leave at least a short review/rating on retail sites and Goodreads when I’ve enjoyed a book. Those are critical for authors that I would feel terrible for skipping it. They’re not detailed enough to post on their own, but Rolé over at Hooked By That Book inspired me with her Quickie Reviews feature, so I’m sharing some here for the first time.
This is a fun light read, brother’s best friend, fake relationship, so it offered some of my favorite things. I loved the characters and enjoyed their book very much. However, I was busy + waited too long to write a review, so I can’t do this book justice all these weeks later. It’s an excellent read + I’ll probably read it again in the future. I liked it enough that I plan to read the whole series in order soon.

Bro Code book 1
Published 2019
This is a fun one-night-stand gone wrong story with a teammate’s little sister. It was sweet and had some steamy moments. I enjoyed Elise and Justin’s story, although Becca and Owen are still my favorite couple in this series, so I read All The Way again after finishing this one.

Hot Jocks book 1
Published 2019
I was excited to read this because first love/unrequited and brother’s best friend so lots of my favorite things. I loved the accidental sexting your crush aspect and the story is funny. The characters were great: very likeable and easy to root for, but there wasn’t anything special about them or their story. I enjoyed it while reading but it was totally forgettable the moment I closed the book.

Bellamy Creek book 2
Published 2020
This story was fine, but uneventful and I didn’t fall in love with the characters. They were likable enough but boring and the story didn’t hold my attention. I put this book down so many times before finally finishing. This series is wildly popular, so I had high expectations and was disappointed. However, I previously enjoyed another book in the series so I’m hoping this one was a fluke and I’ll try another one.

Aw, thanks for the mention! I’ve enjoyed that series by Devney Perry. This looks like a great list of books.
