Noah Westcott should come with a warning: Too Hot to Handle!
The man is stunningly handsome with his embracing brown eyes and lips that make me want to kiss that smirk right off his face.
How could I resist?
Spoiler: I didn’t.
That was my first mistake.
I blame him for the second. It should have been easy and fun. No strings attached. No feelings. As if he commanded it like he did me in the bedroom, I did exactly what I said I wouldn’t. I fell for him.
Two years later, the same man walks into my life. Again. A lot has changed. Not his devastating good looks, or that smug grin, but for me everything.
Now that Noah’s back—in my office and hanging around after hours—I can’t get distracted. I must protect my secret—the one who calls me Mommy.
Liv and Noah shared one amazing night as strangers, never expecting to see one another again. They both felt a connection but maybe that’s just the alcohol. She’d just been through an awful break-up with her sleazy, cheating ex and Olivia wanted to be someone else for a night. The gorgeous stranger in the Hamptons gave her the perfect opportunity to forget. But not long after, she realized there was a permanent reminder of their night together. She wanted to tell him, but she only knew a first name, so there was no way to find Noah again.
Two years later, she’s living a quiet life with her adorable son and working at her father’s company when the new hire leaves her speechless. Her father went to great lengths to recruit Noah Westcott straight out of grad school but there was no way he could’ve known this was her Noah. Office politics and her ex’s place in the company have made work a less than friendly environment for Liv, so she keeps her personal life personal. Most of the employees don’t even know she’s a mom and that’s the way she likes it. But now Noah is there every day, like a time-bomb guaranteed to blow up her life at any moment. He doesn’t understand the hostility but one thing he knows is that the attraction is still there and completely mutual.
They grow closer despite her best efforts to keep him at arms’ length and she soon realizes that Noah is a genuinely good person. She knows she has to tell him everything because her son deserves a father, but this could destroy her life. It’s been her and Maxwell against the world since the day he was born. Liv doesn’t want to share him with anyone, but she knows Maxwell needs to know his dad and Noah will make a good father. But where does that leave the two of them?
Noah and Liv’s story will give you all the feels. Her angst is palpable, but she’s determined to do the right thing for Maxwell and Noah, even if she’s likely to get hurt in the process. I really loved these characters and their story. It’s emotional, raw and real in a lot of ways but tempered with heat and banter. These two are so much fun together, I loved everything about this book. Noah Westcott earned a spot on the book boyfriend list pretty fast and Daddy Noah will melt your heart. I’d like to thank the author and Candi Kane PR for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
