Billionaires aren’t my favorite but I was hooked on the first page because Oliver Fritz isn’t like the others. There’s no brooding alpha condescension or pretentious interaction, he’s completely down-to-earth, not to mention sweet, funny and hot as hell. Amelia was confused by his initial offer but they had a great evening and their chemistry was amazing. Too bad their plan blew up in their faces almost instantly.
Oliver just wants to show her how much he cares and he’s driven to take care of Amelia and her little sister. She hasn’t had an easy life but she’s smart, proud and determined, which seems to work against her at times, at least where Oliver is concerned, but they’re not willing to walk away. Add a one creepy stalker ex, a meddling father and a pervy boss and the action here never stops.
I loved everything about Amelia and Oliver’s story, including the characters themselves and the whole supporting cast, especially Layla. This is a fun book you won’t want to put down and I can’t wait for Carter’s book to come next.
