Grey immediately drew me in. She’s driven, sarcastic, very strong and yet completely flawed. Her world is crumbling and she’s not handling it very well, but losing her dream job is the wakeup call she needs to change her life. She leaves her cold marriage and cheating husband behind and escapes to a small town to rebuild her life as something better.
I can’t really say much about the male leads without being a spoiler, so I’ll just say that I was pleased with how the love story wraps. There’s a ghost story aspect to it that was interesting but honestly could have been left out. This story moved a little slow, with most of the action crammed in the second half and I think it could have been shorter without losing anything. That said, it was still an enjoyable read.
