When I really like a book, I usually post a review on retail sites and Goodreads. Reviews are critical for authors and often help me decide what to read next, so I appreciate them as a reader, too. But I read a lot of books, too many to review them all and when things are really hectic, I’ve got to keep it short. Rolé over at Hooked By That Book inspired me with her Quickie Reviews feature, so I present more mini reviews.
This is a sweet second chance HEA. Aria and Nash met as teens at camp. They fell fast and hard, but things ended badly, through no fault of theirs, just awful circumstances. When fate brings them back together again, it seems almost bittersweet but just keeps getting better. They’re both likable and real and I loved their story.

This story was a nice surprise as the author is new to me and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was drawn in from the first page, loved the characters and their story had a nice balance of romance and suspense.

I love a good fake relationship, and this one does it well. Bree and Zach are fun characters, very likeable and funny together. The attraction is instant, but they weren’t prepared for it to become something more. This is a perfect blend of sweet and steamy.

This is a sweet + angsty best friend’s brother story that’s cute, clean and a little bit boring. Zane was kind of a wienie, which made this lame for me. To be fair, I did finish it so it wasn’t the worst, but I kind of regret it now + wish I’d spent that time on something else.
