This book was a lot of fun to read because it’s five short stories by different authors that all take place around New Year’s Eve at the Grandview Lodge and Resort. They’re not really interconnected but they are related so it’s an interesting premise and I enjoyed it a lot. These are all short and sweet, with some steam, angst and humor thrown in. If you’re familiar with the authors, you may recognize some of the characters from their other books.
I’m a big fan of ME Montgomery but the other authors were all new to me. I enjoy trying new authors to get a taste of their style and the kinds of series they’ll give us, so I can’t wait to check out more from the others. NYE has always been one of my favorite holidays, probably because it holds so much promise with the start of a new year and it’s also the most romantic in my opinion because everyone wants a kiss at midnight and the possibilities are endless. I’d like to thank the authors for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
