Review: Hard Lover by Deborah Garland

I’m an exhibitionist. For a reason. And not the one you think.

I’m not complaining. Having people watch me at my club is a new kink I’m enjoying.
Until I look down in the voyeur pit and see the one person who should never be watching me and my pierced (coughs)…
My best friend’s little sister.

I should stop and she shouldn’t be touching herself watching me.
Now I’m hooked on someone I shouldn’t be thinking about.

When she’s attacked and her brother, my boss asks me to guard her in my cabin for a week, it’s easy to suspend reality and play hard with her. See how much of me she can take.

For one week only. Those are my terms.

Only it’s too good to stop. Callie has me doing things I considered unthinkable like opening my heart and falling for her.

Until my past catches up to me and now Callie is in danger because I dared to make her mine.

If I’m going to make this right, I need to come clean about who I really am. But will Callie still want me?

This book is hot. I love Callie Rose’s sass and determination to make the man she wants notice her. Her brother’s best friend has been her secret crush for years and she’s tired of waiting for him to notice her so she comes up with a plan. And once she puts her plan in motion, Noah Archer will never get her out of his mind. Her plan works, maybe too well considering the specifics of Noah’s life. He has a seret that forces him to live his life alone. Now he wants Callie more than he’s ever wanted anything, but claiming her puts her in danger so he has to stay away.

Too bad keeping his distance is impossible because she doesn’t want to be protected, she wants Noah, consequences be damned. These two are perfect together in every way and the heat is off the charts. There’s just the right amount of suspense for a delicious balance between the romance and the danger. If you like hot cowboys with dark secrets and bold women who aren’t afraid to go after the man of their dreams, then stop what you’re doing and read this book right now. I received an ARC from the author via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.
