There’s an instant attraction that quickly becomes so much more but things won’t be easy. Kennedy is nobody’s pawn, regardless of her assignment or the role she’s ordered to play. Marco appears to be the weaker brother stuck in the lowest ranks of the family, but he’s so much more. Their story is full of heat and action from the very first page. I loved these characters immediately but worried the plot might be a bit predictable. I’m happy to say that wasn’t the case at all.
