Squirrels

Scurrying so quick and light
Dancing through the branches
Leaping, jumping, ducking, hiding
Their movements so entrancing

Stealing glances all around
For the predators that stalk
They chatter wildly with abandon
Disappearing with a pop

Busy, hurried, pressurized
Their work is never done
Seek and stockpile, build the rations
Why not work as one?
