Ivy Smoak is torturing me with this tantalizing preview of a book with no release date that I can find. Scarlett is a day in the life of a high school senior where things just keep going wrong. Her parents are the couple in Smoak’s Temptation, but I want more of Scarlett right now.
She’s struggling with a crush on one of her best friends, an extremely overbearing and controlling father and bullies, on top of being a teen, which hard enough. High school books aren’t usually my thing, but this short story piqued my interest.
